Student residence new digital tech for cinema

Rencontres Audiovisuelles is pleased to welcome on May 5th 17 students from European animation and video game schools in our partner’s school the University College West Flanders HOWEST in Kortrijk. 8 students from VIVID partners’ schools will participate (Anglia Ruskin, Southampton, St Joost and NHTV). They will get introduced to the “Digital Stories” technology that Rencontres Audiovisuelles developed: using a laser pointer, the audience can directly interact and influence the film or video game screened. This is what is called “collective interaction”. In July, the students will meet again in l’hybride in Lille to produce together new content using this technology.
